Love Poem No.9

Lust conceived gives birth to sin,
unless of course when it flowers
into love as I’ve seen it do on more
than one occasion. Sometimes you
get to be the dancer and the dance.
Perhaps anyone’s true biography is
where they have arrived. So here we
are after all this time, still jubilant.

Does there yet exit a chapbook..or a book book of your poetry. I find it quite wonderful. Thank you as always for sharing the beautiful.

Elizabeth, not yet, but I’m working on it. Thanks very much!

    Congratulations. 🙂
There is a story in this beautiful poem that speaks to me, and the place to which I have arrived.
I think we sometimes have the option to exchange our lust for guilt—or for love.
